"seraph's sanctum" is the umbrella title for the location where seraph operates his pony training and housing.the sanctum can appear as a modern location, or as a heavenly / otherworldly location. it serves as a retreat for paying clients eager to play with or adopt their very own pony.

the stables

the stables are where ponies are boarded and offers a variety of adjacent facilities to serve client needs. here ponies can be put to exercise, milking, breeding, or perform other tasks.ponies are given their own nameplate and stall.

the courtyard

the courtyard is a wide area with stone corridors that connect to the various locations of the sanctum. it is frequently utilized for carriage and cart pulling.

the pony cafe

owned by seraph, the pony cafe fronts as a typical cafe offering beverages and light confections while simultaneously housing pleasure ponies for guests to play with and enjoy.

the racetrack & hurdle jump

the sanctum hosts vast areas for ponies to perform races and hurdle jumps. some hurdles have been designed with ways to tether ponies to them.

atrium

the atrium is seraph's personal quarters where he plays with his favorite ponies and punishes the most stubborn.

while existing separate from the sanctum, specialized boutiques exist in the mortal realm to supply owners and pony enthusiasts with all the tack and gear they could possibly need.tack can be custom-fitted to accommodate any species.

Backgrounds can be simple or complex, ranging from interior locations such as cafes and stables to simpler establishing locations such as hurdle jumps or outdoor paddocks.

CROWDS / BACKGROUND CHARACTERS

Crowds / background characters do not count towards additional character fees unless the client requests specific characters to be included.Unless otherwise requested, background characters are kept away from the main focus. Any in-focus background characters are given appearances and markings typical of their species and not intended to represent characters belonging to third parties.The artist will only include their own characters as additional characters or background filler if the client has given permission to do so.

GENERAL ✒

  1. Clients must be 18 years or older to purchase artwork from me. Minors are strictly prohibited from participating in any godafterdark project.

  2. I reserve the right to refuse a project.

  3. Prices are subject to change. Clients will not be billed nor reimbursed the difference if the cost of an item changes during a project's duration.

  4. The client understands that they are paying for the non-refundable time and expertise of an artist. Completed commissions are not eligible for refund.

COMMUNICATION & COMMISSION DELIVERY ✉

  1. Project discussion and other business-related inquiries are conducted entirely over email.

  2. Emails are handled on business days [Monday through Friday]. I am unavailable to respond on weekends. I may require a business day or two to respond.

  3. Files for finished artwork are sent to the client via their chosen contact email.

WORK IN PROGRESS, QUEUE & TURNAROUND TIME ⧖

  1. Work in Progress updates [or "WIPs"] are mid-progress updates sent back to the client for approval throughout the project prior to the artwork's completion. A client may receive one to two WIPs for a single commissioned piece. This may vary on the style of commission.

  2. All commissions are listed on my public queue hosted on Trello.

  3. Unless arrangements have been made, unpaid commissions that have exceeded ten days in the queue without response from the client will be removed from the queue with notice and considered cancelled.

  4. Position in the queue may vary due to response time or artwork complexity.

  5. The Estimate Turnaround Time ["ETA"] is exclusively an estimate and is not a guarantee for a project's completion.

  6. Clients are encouraged to request edits [such as colour adjustments, artist errors and markings] at any point, including when the artwork is completed. Major edits on completed artwork may warrant a fee.

  7. Clients are welcome to reach out via email at any point to inquire about the status of their project.

  8. Larger projects, commission orders of multiple artworks, and group prints may take longer to fulfill, and may take longer than their estimated turnaround time.

  9. If a client requires their artwork for a deadline, they must express this at the time of purchase. Please note: not all deadlines can be accommodated. Rush fees may apply.

  10. I may terminate a commission if the project is being hindered by the revision process. Should a project be terminated, the client will be immediately receive a partial refund. Refund amounts may vary, determined by the volume of work completed at the time of issue.

PAYMENTS, QUOTES & REFUNDS $

  1. Invoices are due within ten days of issue.

  2. Clients may request a payment plan or extension on their invoice due date. Commissions under a payment plan are subject to a non-refundable deposit.

  3. Payments can be accepted through Paypal invoicing or Square invoicing.

  4. If a refund must be issued, the client will receive a partial to full refund. Refund amounts may vary, determined by the volume of work completed at the time of issue.

  5. I will not compensate, nor can I expedite, fees or processing times imposed on refunds by the payment service provider.

PUBLICATION AND PERMISSIONS ⌗

  1. Completed client artwork may be utilized for my own advertising and self promotion purposes. All completed client works are published to my online galleries and social media.

  2. Clients may request to have their commission be private. This must be noted at the time of purchase or before the artwork is completed. Private commissions will not be utilized for advertising, nor will they appear in my online galleries or social media.

  3. The client may print their purchased artwork for their own personal use provided no monetary profit is being earned.

  4. The client may publish their purchased artwork to their own social media and online art galleries.

  5. The client may use their purchased artwork for personal non-commercial use, such as social media banners, icons, backgrounds, or physical art prints.

CANCELLATIONS AND SCRAPPED PROJECTS ✎

  1. Unless arrangements have been made, unpaid commissions that have exceeded ten days in the queue without response from the client will be removed from the queue with notice and considered cancelled.

  2. A project may be cancelled due to reasons including but not limited to: conflict of interest, health concerns, abusive behaviour from the client.

  3. Should a project be terminated, the client will be immediately receive a partial to full refund. Refund amounts may vary, determined by the volume of work completed at the time of issue.

  4. If a commission was abandoned or cancelled while incomplete, it may be repurposed or resold. The client's character[s] will be removed and replaced.

  5. Scrapped WIPs may be repurposed or resold. The client's character[s] will be removed and replaced.
